Legal Counsel, Amazon Leo

Amazon is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team supporting Amazon Project Leo, an ambitious initiative to deploy a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites delivering reliable, low-latency broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. This role will partner closely with the Ground Infrastructure Services and Operations teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), providing legal guidance on commercial transactions, infrastructure development, real estate, construction, and telecommunications matters.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Support contracts relating to gateway sites and satellite ground infrastructure.
• Advise business teams on legal matters involving real estate, construction, telecommunications, and commercial operations.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Structure innovative legal solutions that enable business growth while minimizing legal risk.
• Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams across the EMEA region.
• Develop scalable legal processes that improve efficiency and support rapid business execution.
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend commercially balanced solutions.
• Work independently while managing multiple high-priority legal projects.

What we're looking for

• License to practice law in Europe, the United States, or another Common Law jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualified legal experience (PQE).
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience handling commercial transactions and contract negotiations.
• Excellent legal analysis, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and practical business judgment.
